Spring

So far we have had a rainy Spring. We seem to have plans for outdoor activities, but then don't do it because it's either raining or too wet from the previous rain. This week it has also turned cold again, so that's been keeping us mostly indoors. Today we did go to the trampoline park again. Alex jumped and climbed and had a blast. David was done at the hour mark (of a 1 1/2 hr activity). He was much more interested in the flashy arcade games and what the all did. Luckily we were there with a church friend and the kids could do both. David seems to like to know how things work.

We are on the countdown for Grandma and Grandpa Misch and David's birthday. We will see if the weather is good enough for Dollywood. But it will be nice to have company for a bit.

I have also been trying to go for walks and runs again as the weather has allowed. I'd love to go for a walk most mornings and evenings. So far I haven't gotten there, but definitely more than I was doing in the winter.

I have quite a few plants started (mostly indoors). I am having a lot of trouble getting any of the herbs to sprout. I'm hoping that as it warms up, they may be more successful. I am doing a combination of vegetables and flowers this year. Unfortunately not too many flowers because Alex is terrified of bees at the moment.

Last week we visited the Aquarium in Pigeon Forge. We all had fun looking around. Then afterwards we got a treat in town. Zach and I sampled some hard ciders and the kids got to pick out a candy. The kids are much better in the car these days. It will be fun to be able to expand our area to explore around here this year.
