Christmas was nice with the kids, and nobody was sick 😀. The kids got a lot of new toys and I tried out my new scroll saw and sander. I’m excited for warmer weather to start my first intarsia project. I saw a really cool intarsia artist at one of the Waynesville art festival and it inspired me to try this new way to do wood crafts.

We also had our first bigger snow storm. I think it was about 7inches at our house. The snow even stuck around for several days. Alex loved it and David started to have fun after we did snow balls.

We booked our trip to Arizona. I am looking forward to seeing family and friends we have missed for the two years we have lived here. Plus my dad and sister (and families) who have been out to visit us. It will be David’s first airplane ride and our first vacation as a family of 4. It should be an adventure.
