This winter has been passing by with it's usual speed. However we have had a few nice days to get the kids outside.

A couple weeks ago we went to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg. It worked out well for Alex's science class (since we were talking about fish). The kids both got more out of it this time through. It's a nice aquarium with a big tank that you meander through.

On Valentine's Day, the kids had fun with their cards and candy. Then we had church and potluck that evening. My throat started hurting as the evening went by and then I was having full body aches at night. I tested a few times over the next few days for Covid, but everything was negative. I was hit pretty hard, so maybe it was the flu? Who knows. I thought the family had escaped the sickness until yesterday. A week after I got sick, David woke up with a fever. He was pretty miserable all day. Today seems to be better and Alex is a little sick, but no fever or anything. Hopefully it passes through them quickly. Good news about it is that David doesn't seem to be having any negative breathing symptoms.

Zach worked a bit today on a ceiling patch. First step seems done, but there are still a few to go. It looks like he will be working on it a little for the next couple days.
