This week was cold and wet. Most of our time was spent indoors. Our Friday adventure was to church to hang up some pictures in Zach's office. We talked about walking around downtown, but decided to stay in and FaceTime with family instead.

There were a few peeks of sunshine at different times and I took the kids to do scooter rides in the neighborhood. Alex is has been working on getting her balance and stopping on her two wheel scooter and David has decided that he's not interested in trying his at all right now... so he likes to run along with Alex, or after her.

We also hung out with a mom friend and her 2 yr old boy. They came over for a play date.

The big thing for us this week was Alex's return to gymnastics. About a year ago she said she didn't want to go anymore and so we decided to take a break. We hoped that she may be Interested in a tumbling class nearby. She got to try it out and didn't like it. It was a lot of movement songs and not much tumbling. She participated for most of it, but said that she didn't ever want to go back.

So, we are back to her old gymnastics class in Asheville. She was so excited all day and then was jumping around a lot during her class because she was happy to be there. That was fun to see. She has been working hard on her hand stands. And was excited that her new teacher was named "Miss Cat". Hopefully traffic won't be too bad for our commutes, which are 40 minutes without traffic... but often are much longer because of construction on highway or accidents on the freeway.
